All parking ticket dispensers and pay stations guide travelers through the process with audio (voice) and on-screen instructions when approaching the new units.
Travelers who keep their parking ticket with them (in a safe place so as not to lose it) may pay at the pre-pay or pay on foot stations upon arriving home, and before returning to their vehicle. Simply scan the bar code face up at the pre-pay unit. (No coins.) On-screen instructions will guide travelers through the process. Pre-pay (or Pay On Foot) available adjacent to Door 6 near the rental car counters, and under the hanging monocoupe airplane.
The original parking ticket selected at entry, and used at the pre-pay unit, is required to exit any lane. The now-paid ticket will be read as pre-paid." This helps expedite departure from the lot. Please exit the lot within the 30 minute grace period. It is important to note that travelers are not “pre-paying” for parking before departing on a flight. The Pay-in-terminal option is meant to be used upon return home, after claiming luggage, and prior to returning to your vehicle.
Lost tickets do incur a fee, and a travel itinerary is used for verification of the days parked in the lot. Please try to find your ticket in your vehicle (i.e. visor, cup holder, etc.) before driving to the exit lane.
One staffed lane (far left, marked as "CASH or PRE PAY") and four automatic/express lanes (marked as "CREDIT") are available. Use the express lanes for all credit card transactions. Scan the white ticket (bar code face up) and then continue to follow payment instructions. Cash, check, or other forms of payment- use staffed exit lane, far left.
Need a receipt? Please use the Parking Question form available at this page, here. At that form, please describe the nature of your issue, and the dates you were parked.
Two things: Price and location. Short-term spaces are CLOSER to the terminal building and are a premium at $15.00 per day. Long-term spaces are only $7.00 per day. (See above chart.) Most people select short-term for pick up and drop off, greeting family, etc. There is no limit on the number of days you can park in the lot. If you exit the short-term lot through the gate arm and enter the long-term lot because that's where you intended to park, you must leave completely through the exit booth and re-enter to receive a long-term parking ticket. Otherwise, since you obtained a short-term ticket, your parking will be charged at the short-term rate.
There are multiple long-term parking entrances as you follow the frontage road from the interstate or 69th Avenue/Airport Road. There is only one short-term parking entrance which is accessed from the left lanes as you approach the terminal building. If you miss the short-term entrance, you must circle around the frontage road again. Follow signs to "return to terminal".
The inside and outside pick-up and drop-off lanes are open for ATTENDED VEHICLES ONLY. You may drop off or pick up passengers for free at the curb anytime. DO NOT leave your vehicle UNATTENDED while picking up or dropping off your party at the curb. Your full cooperation is appreciated. Please note that this allowance is subject to change at any time, in accordance with the TSA, or for reasons of National Security.
