July 2025 was the busiest month at the QC Airport since October 2019. Girls in Aviation Day – September 20
Bring the whole family for an inspiring, hands-on day at the QC Airport! With more than two dozen exhibitors, you’ll explore airplanes, flight simulators, drones, weather tools and a wide range of aviation and aerospace careers. Ideal for ages 5 and up.
This year’s keynote speaker is Ashley Hanson, Unmanned Aviation Systems (UAS) Manager at John Deere. Ashley oversees global UAV operations for the company—developing training programs, policies and leading high-stakes flight missions. She’s a trailblazer in drone technology and will share her journey, insights and advice for the next generation of aviation professionals.
