Airport hours

The airport terminal doors open at 3:30 a.m. The screening checkpoint, baggage screening (public area) and airline ticket counters open two hours prior to each airline’s respective first-morning departure. Ticket counters are closed between flights.

Please note that most airlines close their counters to passenger check-in 30 minutes prior to the listed departure time. Once the doors to the jet bridge/aircraft are closed, they may not reopen under any circumstance. Most airlines expect passengers to be in the boarding gate area 20 – 30 minutes prior to flight time. To enjoy your travel experience and make it as stress-free as possible, we recommend allowing yourself ample time to check-in and go through the screening area.

What happens if I can’t make my flight?

Contact your airline as soon as possible. Each airline has its own policies and there may be associated fees, depending on the airline. If you are delayed or canceled due to weather and you have been checked in at the counter or are in the terminal, listen to airline announcements or check with the airline counter agents. Airline apps on your smartphone may help with notifications and rebooking options.
